According to the Bible, it is an expression of love to discipline your children, but society is leaning the other way. Think of parenting this way: you’re given a rose and your task is to prune it to make it the best rose it can be. But you’re not trying to change the rose into a lily. Don’t try to force them into a particular mold, but discover who they’ve been made to be by God.
