The reason people back away from truth speaking is because they want the freedom to construct their lives any way they want. But actually, according to this passage, freedom does not come from less truth, but from the truth. True freedom is being the person you were made to be, and that means coming into alignment with the Creator’s design. That truth will indeed set you free.
